The Greater Boston United War Fund organized fifty window displays for their 1942 campaign. Breuer designed the display for the Boston Dispensary, an organization founded in 1796 to provide medical care to poor. By 1930, the Dispensary had joined with the Boston Floating Hospital and the Tufts College Medical and Dental Schools to form the New England Medical Center. No record of what the display looked like exists.
