In 1944, Kurt Lewin asked Breuer to redesign the offices of the Commission on Community Interrelations (CCI) of the American-Jewish Congress. Breuer proposed a color scheme for the offices along with furniture and a lighting plan. Stamo Papadaki, who was active in Congrès internationaux d'architecture moderne (C.I.A.M) oversaw the implementation of the project.
