Jack Pritchard hired Breuer and Yorke to design a club and restaurant for Lawn Road Flats, the modern apartment building designed by Wells Coates in which both Walter Gropius and Breuer lived for a time. The firm created a simple space furnished with Isokon plywood furniture, much of it designed by Breuer, and Breuer's standard reflecting light fixtures. A large-scale map of the area decorated a wall near the bar while a plywood screen blocking the view into the dining area featured amorphous shapes enclosing photographs and another map.
