Preliminary Plan and Elevations

In September of 1949, Breuer produced preliminary plans for a one-story, butterfly-roofed house for an unnamed client. The east elevation featured a wall of windows shaded by the projection of the roof. The house had bedrooms at one end of the long rectangle with the living room, dining room and kitchen at the other. A passageway with a louvered screen wall led to a separate garage.
