One of Breuer's earliest commissions. For the living room, he designed glass vitrines to house the owners' pottery collection and a built-in couch and table. He used woven hemp matting as floor coverings, as he had done in the Bauhaus Masters' Houses. This matting would become a signature of his residential interiors. Breuer also designed furniture for the nursery.
