Papachristou, Tician

Architect and partner of Marcel Breuer. Papachristou earned a B.A. in architecture and an M.F.A. from Princeton University. He founded his own office in Boulder, Co. before joining Breuer’s firm in 1965. He became a partner in 1974. He was the MBA resident partner in the Middle East and spent long periods in the firm’s Paris office. He worked on numerous projects. After the close of MBA, he designed many projects in the Middle East including Sadat City, a new community near Cairo and the American Embassy buildings in Damascus, Syria.
