Brazilian architect. Oscar Niemeyer suggested that Uchõa might be able to show Breuer around Rio when Breuer visited the city in 1947. Uchõa collaborated with Niemeyer on a number of buildings including the Peixe-Duchen biscuit factory, the Montreal office building, and the 4th Centennial Exhibition building at Ibirapuera Park, all in São Paolo.
