In 1970, Marcel Breuer and Associates produced multiple schemes for this Cathedral in Burlington, Vermont. The version shown here, with its stepped profile rising from a low entrance to a tall sanctuary that also functioned as a campanile, resembled the firm’s design for the nearly contemporaneous Olgiata Parish Church. Neither project was realized.
