Projects by Name
For three short months between December 1971 and February 1972, Breuer worked on a project to convert an existing five-story junior high school in Greenwich Village into an experimental primary school to be called the Meiser Charette School. The project never got further than the planning stages but would have updated mechanical systems in the building and reconfigured the space by removing partition walls. The preliminary plans reveal areas for preschool students along with community spaces, meeting rooms and offices.
