Falkner, Hans

Client and Head of the Ober-Gurgl ski school. He commissioned a ski lodge in Ober-Gurgl from Breuer in 1937. The Austrian authorities rejected the plans so the lodge was never built. Falkner was forced to leave Austria for political reasons shortly thereafter, and Breuer attempted to help him find a position as a ski instructor in North America. In 1941, Falkner flirted with the idea of building the ski lodge near Lake Tremblant in Canada.
