In 1976, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Bratti purchased Breuer's second house in New Canaan, CT. Herbert Beckhard, one of Breuer's former partners renovated the house between 1975 and 1980. As part of those renovations, Beckhard added a pool house and a greenhouse with a steeply sloping glass roof that reached almost to the ground.
