Zimmer der Sekretärin (nr. 284)

In 1929, Baron Eduard von der Heydt acquired a house that had originally been designed by Karl Hoffmann as a weekend house for guests of a nearby golf club. Hoffmann expanded the house for the new owner, who asked Breuer to design the interiors. Breuer created numerous pieces of custom furniture for von der Heydt, including kitchen storage cabinets, beds, and built-in furniture for a study and secretary's quarters.
