In 1956, Breuer produced drawings for offices and a showroom at 520 Eighth Avenue in New York City for Jack L. Honig, the manufacturer of children’s dresses. Sketches of the showroom reveal mannequins modeling girls’ dresses set in a sculptural display case. Interior finishes in the showroom included cork, plywood and acoustic plaster. The offices contained spaces for the design and manufacture of the clothing along with work areas for salesmen and offices for the company’s executives.
